Zoya Storm Water Marble Mani

Hello my fellow polish enthusiasts!  I have a quick water marble mani to share with you today!

I started out with a base coat of ProFX then did one coat of Color Club Pucci-licious.  I then did a water marble design using a clear coat and Zoya Storm.

It didn't quite have the depth to it that I was going for so next time I will do a base of Storm then do a purple and clear water marble on top.

I sealed it all with a top coat of Fresh Paint clear coat and called it good to go!

Stay tuned for more awesome manis and please share it if you like it!

Celebrating Feline Adoptions!

Hello my fellow polish lovers, today I have a paw print mani to share with you in honor of my newest family member!

I adopted a second feline, and so far, he has blended right in!

Smokie doesn't seem to upset at his new buddy Moe sleeping on top of him, lol!

I used two coats of Pure Ice Respeck, which is a very glittery black polish, for the base and Sinful Colors Snow Me White for the paw prints.

I used a dotting tool to paint the paw prints on and am actually super happy with how they turned out!

I sealed it all with a top coat of Fresh Paint clear coat.  I love these nails but I love my new feline buddy even more!  It makes me happy to be able to give Moe a new Fur-ever Home.  Check back soon as I have more fun mani's to share!

Penguins and PJ's - a winning combo!

Hello my fellow nail polish lovers and dear readers!  Today I'm sharing with you a mani that was inspired by a pair of fuzzy PJ's my love recently bought me (Thanks babe!) that were just too cute not to draw inspiration from!

Right Hand

Left Hand

I used so many colors I'm just going to list them for you in no particular order:

Wet N Wild - Carribean Frost (teal)
Sinful Colors Snow Me White (white)
Sinful Colors 24/7 (pink - right hand)
Wet N Wild Lavender Creme (pink - left hand)
Sally Hansen Hard Bitten (blue - ring fingers)
NYC Skyline Blue (blue - index fingers)
Sinful Colors Go Go Boots (purple)
L'Oreal Check Me Out (pink-cheeks)
L'Oreal l'orange (orange-beaks and feet)
Sinful Colors Black on Black (eyes)

And the PJ's that inspired them!

I love fuzzy PJ's no matter how uncool or unsexy they are!  This pair in particular are super soft and already my new fave pair!

I even had colors that matched pretty close to the penguin colors on the PJ's. It's when things like this happen that make me happy I have such a large collection of polish.

I liked these so much I actually wore them for 5 days!  That's like a new record for me!   I have more fun and cute mani's coming up so be sure to check back soon...and I'm sure I'll eventually get sick of the cuteness and go back to some more "grown-up" designs....but for now fuzzy pj's, a grin, and hot cocoa are exactly what I need to enjoy this winter!

Vibrant Purple and Gold Foil Mani

Happy Day my dear readers and fellow polish lovers!  Today I'm sharing with you a very vibrant mani.  I just really, really felt the need to wear something neon and eye catching and I definitely satisfied that craving!

I used ColorClub Mrs Robinson for the purple base color and Sinful Colors Snow Me White with Mrs Robinson for the water marble accent nail.  The white looks very lilac since it's done over a base coat of Mrs Robinson.

The gold flakes were actually picked up at a local trade fair but they definitely are NOT real gold as they slowly turned green over a 48 hr period.  It wasn't horrible but it was noticeable by the end of 48 hrs on a few pieces.

I used a toothpick and tweezers to hand place each flake and the rhinestone on my index, then top coated everything with Seche  Vite.

Overall these are one of my most recent faves!  I have tons of ideas for new designs but I'm open to suggestions if anyone has any requests.  Just leave me a comment below and don't forget to share it if you like it!

Pink Glittery Madness

Hello my fellow nail art enthusiasts and beloved readers!  I have a very pink mani to share with you today and I feel like they should be named Pink is My Favorite Color...which makes me think of Aerosmith of course, but for some weird reason I associate Aerosmith with Alicia Silverstone from her role in Clueless...who I think would love these nails!

Soooo...enough of my rambling and onto the details!  I used Zoya Binx for the ring finger and FreshPaint Arrowhead for the rest.  The gold tips are Zoya Ziv and are sponged on using a makeup sponge.

The white stamping was done with Sinful Colors Snow Me White and plate QA96 from an online store called Born Pretty Store.  I have no idea where I got the studs since it's been awhile since I picked them up...

So I'm digging pink way more than I used to....I'm not sure how I feel about that yet but for now I'm just gonna roll with it.  Check back soon for more nail art goodness and love yourselves!

Christmas Catch Up

Hello my fellow nail art lovers!  I'm playing catch up with all my posts after my Christmas vacation and I thought I'd share with you the nails I wore for the holidays!

I used my usual ProFX for the base coat (I'm almost out so I'm open to suggestions for a new base coat if anyone has any!) then did two coats of Sinful Shine Prosecco.  I then sponged white on the tips using a makeup sponge and Sinful Colors Snow Me White.

The flower on the ring finger are real, dried, teeny tiny flowers (bought from Born Pretty Store).  Tweezers and lots of swearing were used to place them!

I used generous amounts of Seche Vite to top coat everything and stick the pearl on my index.

They lasted several days and the pearl never came off so I deem this mani a holiday winner!

I have tons more posts coming up so check back soon and dear readers remember to love yourself!
