Hello my lovely readers! Today I'm sharing with you a mani that took me 4 hours to complete! Now if that isn't dedication to your nails I don't know what is!
Ok, so a big part of the four hours was mixing my own colors to get that perfect neon green, orange and pink....still totally worth it!
I did start with Wet n' Wild Black Creme and the white is Sinful Colors Snow Me White but all the rest including the grays are several polishes I mixed together on a piece of foil until I had the colors I wanted. I then top coated them with a matte top coat by Wet n Wild. My favorite parts of this are the white peaking around the flowers and grass giving it that offset feel like you see on print artwork sometimes
My thumb is the only one I could squeeze the awesome blue flower on so I had to include a pic :)
This was a suggested pattern in the July issue of NailPro that I thought I'd try out. In the magazine it's actually done with gel polishes which with LED cure times would take WAY less time to do than waiting for regular polish to dry like I did.
What do you think...did I get close?
